About Me
I was born and raised in a suburb just north of Detroit. My parents taught me at a young age to work hard to accomplish the things I wanted in life. Looking back, I think I was always meant to be a designer, even before I ever knew what design was. I always enjoyed when things seemed uniform, made sense, and looked good. I had a thing for organization (even though my room was never clean) and such a strong creative drive when I was a kid.
These days I continue to refine my creative skills as a graphic design major at Grand Valley State University. Grand Valley is just west of Grand Rapids, MI. During my time studying at Grand Valley, I’ve come to learn that I absolutely love making things, and that I have the drive and resources to make whatever I want. I take advantage of this knowledge, by always creating things. Even if they never make it into my portfolio, they help me stay sharp and give me chances to learn new things.
I think about the future a lot. Where I will end up is always on my mind. I like to envision myself living in a big city surrounded by creative individuals and innovative companies. I plan on continuing to work hard to hone my skills to the best of my ability. I always want to learn new things and expand my skill set. I would love to move and experience the great cities in the United States. Regardless of where I live, I’m a Detroit sports fan until I die!
